The BKL bellows coupling type from R+W Couplings is the “economy” variant of the BK2 and is easy to assemble due to clamping hubs. In addition, the BKL coupling possesses a low mass moment of inertia and this precision coupling is absolutely free of backlash due to the use of friction clamp connection. Thanks to its forced bellows shape, the element can simultaneously accommodate lateral, axial and angular misalignments. As long as they do not fall outside the maximum area, no metal fatigue will occur in the bellows material and the clutch is completely free of wear.
