MP4Unt
Control modulesThe MP4Unt is a modular, configurable Motion Control operating system. It consists of a motion controller, power supply, and drives that are designed to meet the requirements of system applications for high-precision multi-axis motion control applications. The open software architecture works in conjunction with ACS line of EtherCAT servo and stepper motor drives, as well as I/O modules. Also with any certified EtherCAT module that complies with the CAN over EtherCAT (CoE) protocol.
The MP4Unt is a Lego-like system, combining high-performance (NPM) drives with UDM economical drives, all powered by a supply voltage of 96Vdc and/or 48Vdc.
The internal controller is functionally identical to the SPiiPlusEC. Optionally, the MP4Unt can be equipped with an EtherCAT_to_EtherCAT bridge, allowing the entire system to be connected as a node in an EtherCAT network and managed by any PLC that supports the DS402 protocol.
