This type of decentralized controller has a very small footprint and can, depending on the type, be connected to power supply voltages ranging from 12-60Vdc. The controllers can control DC motors and BLDC motors and provide currents up to a maximum of 15A. In addition to speed control, current control and position control are also possible. The units are equipped with a CAN or EtherCAT bus interface to communicate with a higher-level control system that VARIODRIVE can also provide.
