MDMst
Universal Drive ModulesThe MDMst is part of the Mini-universal Drive Module (MDM) series from ACS’s EtherCAT-based control platform. Its small size and lightweight design allow it to be placed close to the moving drive.
The MDMst can be controlled by the ACS SPiiPlus™ Platform and uses powerful servo control algorithms to optimize the performance of the motion control system. Its universal drive technology gives system designers the flexibility to control different types of motors, such as brushless AC, brushed DC, voice coil, and stepper motors.
With the optional ServoBoost™ algorithm, the system can achieve high performance in terms of standstill jitter, settling time, and speed accuracy. The MDMst also includes advanced Auto Focus functionality.
An optional Safe Torque Off (STO) function is available, which meets SIL-3 and PLe safety standards.
