Universal Drive ModulesThe NPMpc is designed for OEMs with multi-axis motion control applications at the nanometer level. The NPMpc is controlled as an EtherCAT slave by an ACS SPiiPlus Platform EtherCAT master. The unit utilizes powerful servo control algorithms and NanoPWM technology to maximize the performance of the motion control system. The NanoPWM technology combines the advantages of low current ripple from a linear drive and efficient heat dissipation from a PWM drive.
These servodrives provide currents up to 13.3/40A (continuous/peak) and have an input voltage of 100Vdc. It is the ultimate servo drive for demanding performance at low and high speeds, high acceleration, sub-nanometer standstill jitter, and constant speed with low tracking error. Optionally, the Safe Torque Off (STO) function is available, which complies with SIL-3 and PLe safety requirements.
