Universal Drive ModulesThe UDMmc is part of the Universal Drive Module (UDM) series of EtherCAT-based servo drives and includes 2 or 4 universal drives with an input voltage of 12-80Vdc and an output current of up to 20A nominal and 40A peak. The UDMmc can be controlled by any ACS SPiiPlus-platform EtherCAT master and utilizes powerful servo control algorithms (sample frequency=20kHz) to optimize the performance of the motion system.
The integrated universal servo controller provides the system designer with flexibility to control virtually any type of motor. With the optional ServoBoostTM algorithm, very high performance can be achieved in terms of standstill jitter, settling time, and speed accuracy. Optionally, the Safe Torque Off (STO) function is available, which meets the SIL-3 and PLe safety requirements.
