ATEX couplings from R+W Couplings are used in hazardous areas. The use of devices and components in potentially explosive atmospheres is regulated by the current European directives 2014/34/EU (ATEX). The products presented are category 2 non-electrical equipment. According to the Machinery Directive, R+W couplings as a part may not be marked with a CE mark, no CE declaration of conformity or installation and no serial number, and are therefore not covered by the Machinery Directive.
