Description

The ZAL intermediate shaft from R+W Couplings, with its long design, can easily cover large distances up to 6 meters as a standard and is simple to assemble and disassemble. Thanks to the use of CFRP, the shaft is very lightweight and exhibits exceptionally low inertia. Additionally, the ZAL intermediate shaft is torsionally rigid, and the precision coupling is entirely free from play due to the use of a friction clamp connection. Thanks to its forcefully formed bellows shape, the element can simultaneously accommodate lateral, axial, and angular misalignments. As long as these misalignments do not exceed the maximum range, there will be no metal fatigue in the bellows material, and the shaft coupling will remain completely free from wear.
