Control modules

The MC4Unt is a modular, configurable Motion Control control system. It consists of a motion controller, power supply, and servo drives designed to meet the needs of system applications for high-precision, multi-axis motion control applications. The open software architecture works in conjunction with ACS’s line of EtherCAT servo and stepper motor drives, as well as I/O modules. Also with any certified EtherCAT module that complies with the CAN over EtherCAT (CoE) protocol.

The unit is powered by a 3-phase power supply module with an input voltage ranging from 85 to 400Vac and a power output between 0.5 and 20kW. The unit can be equipped with up to 8 internal drive modules, consisting of PWM drives, linear drives, and NanoPWM drives. Optional Safe Torque Off (STO) module is available and complies with SIL-3 and PLe safety standards.
