Motion PLC systems

The EtherCAT extension modules are specifically developed to be applied in projects within industrial automation. There is a wide range of different types of I/O modules available, including digital inputs and outputs, analog (single-ended or differential) inputs and outputs, temperature sensor inputs, counter and encoder inputs, and bus coupling modules.

The expansion modules E-I/O types can be directly connected to a B-Nimis MC control system via an internal EtherCAT bus. This setup can potentially be combined with the SC-Safety modules to obtain a modular safety system. The modules can also be used as remote I/O islands by using a bus coupler, which connects the islands to an EtherCAT master through a wired EtherCAT network.
