Spindle actuatorsElectric current instead of hydraulic oil. The SERAC® XH is an ultra-compact electromechanical actuator for precise displacements with high force. The “slimline” design corresponds with a hydraulic cylinder and features a directly driven outgoing rod. The striking compact housing design of the SERAC® XH electric cylinder is both beautiful and exceptionally practical. The components (Anti-rotation, Linear encoder, PWG spindle, Servomotor) of this complete, pre-assembled drive are housed in a compact and robust enclosure.
The actuator contains a built-in brushless AC servomotor that is controlled by a standard servodrive. Because the outgoing displacement of the actuator contains some slip compared to the servo motor due to the operating principle, an internal linear encoder can be used.
