This type of gearboxes is ideal for directly mounting a sprocket, chain wheel or running wheel (e.g. AGV). Due to the large output bearing present, these gears can absorb large radial forces. In addition to the straight planetary versions, angled versions are also available. Gear ratios from 1:2 to 1:2000 are available. The planetary transmissions are also available in food-grade and cleanroom versions.
