The NEMA brake series has been developed for mounting on our stepper and servo motors, such as the MIS23, MIS34, MAC050, MAC 140 motors. This electro-mechanical holding brake is characterized by its low backlash character and very low noise emissions. The holding brake is mounted directly on the output shaft of the motor. The holding brake is released when a 24VDC supply voltage is applied.
