Sophisticated and accurate driving and steering at the same time is possible with an AMER dual drive system. A system consists of 2 AMER DC Gear motors, optionally mounted on a mounting frame. By controlling the motors under a vehicle with a difference, the speed difference can be controlled. By using an accurate pulse generator/encoder on the back of the motor, a precise combination of control, speed and distance measurement can be realized. The power range runs from 60W to 2.5kW. Both a PMDC and a BLDC motor can be used. The unit can be completely customized so that it fits perfectly into the construction. Adjustments can be both mechanical and electrical. Possible are axes, flanges, coatings, optional brakes, connectors and pulse generators/encoders as desired.
