IQAN-MC41
Master controllersThe IQAN-MC41 controller is the smallest module in the MC4 series. This unit is best suited for smaller applications such as simple task-oriented controls, implementation of single functions on a vehicle (e.g. driver for additional hydraulic functions). The IQAN-MC41 is designed as an IEC61508 SIL2 Functional Safety (-FS) variant or a standard controller.
The CPU architecture of the IQAN-MC41 provides computing power that enables it to perform fast dynamic (1 ms) control loops for time critical functions.
The unit features 2 CAN bus communication interfaces with different protocols.
There are voltage inputs in 2 different ranges, current loop inputs for 4-20 mA, timing inputs (used for frequency, PWM and pulse control) and digital inputs.
The IQAN-MC41 has 2 dual proportional outputs for controlling valves. These outputs can control up to 2 bi-directional proportional valve sections or 2 single solenoid devices (e.g., proportional cartridge valves). The unit also has 8 PWM outputs.
The housing has degree of protection IP66 + IP69K and is a robust mechanical design specifically designed for outdoor use under harsh conditions.
