Linear motor actuatorsThe Nano Linear NT series is an ultra-compact linear motor table with moving magnets and an extremely low profile. For guiding the moving table, miniature linear roller guides are used. A linear motor is used for the drive, and a high-resolution linear encoder is used to achieve very precise positioning. Thanks to the use of high-performance neodymium magnets, a large driving force can be obtained, resulting in high acceleration and very dynamic positioning. Moreover, friction and contamination are reduced because the motor windings are located on the fixed part, eliminating the need for moving cables.
Maintenance tasks such as re-greasing for the linear guides can be significantly reduced by using the lubrication component “C-Lube” impregnated with lubricant.
The NT series linear motors can be constructed as single units, parallel units, XY units, and XZ units. These units are excellent to combine with an ACS Motion control system for very dynamic applications.
