Elastomer couplingsThe EKZ elastomer spacer from R+W Couplings is intended to provide extra length to the jaw couplings. This middle part is backlash-free and, due to its extra length, can compensate for a significant misalignment error and provide additional damping. The EKZ spacer has a compact design and is easy to (dis)assemble. The coupling can be combined with various types of R+W elastomer stars. All types of R+W elastomer stars dampen vibrations and are electrically insulating, while the ATEX version is conductive. For specific questions about claw couplings, please contact VARIODRIVE.
