SPiiPlusES High Performance Programmable Motion Controller
Motion controllersThe SPiiPlusES is a high-performance EtherCAT motion controller that can be connected as a slave node to another EtherCAT network using the standard DS402 CAN Over EtherCAT (CoE) protocol. As a slave node, the SPiiPlusES appears to the external EtherCAT master as a freely programmable multi-axis motion controller. The SPiiPlusES hereby expands the capacity of each EtherCAT automation system with highly advanced motion control capabilities.
The SPiiPlusES, as an EtherCAT master, generates advanced motion profiles for up to 64 axes with an EtherCAT cycle of maximum 5kHz. The open software architecture works in combination with the ACS line of EtherCAT servo and stepper motor drives and I/O modules. The SPiiPlusES utilizes powerful capabilities for application development and control algorithms for profile generation. The SPiiPlusES can also control third-party EtherCAT devices, providing flexibility for the motion control system designer.
